The purpose of the American College of Osteopathic Pediatricians is to foster and stimulate interest among osteopathic medical students in the practice of pediatrics. The local RVU chapter utilizes guest speakers, community service, public outreach, and cooperation with local clubs and organizations to further the understanding and appreciation of pediatric medicine. National membership includes discounted rates to the national ACOP convention and access to online education and support materials, including mentoring.
