AWS

The Association of Women Surgeons (AWS) is a surgery club that provides extracurricular and educational opportunities to expand students' knowledge of the surgical field while enhancing the interaction and exchange of information between women surgeons and students. Activities include guest speakers, current resident advice talks, surgical stimulations, and numerous co-ops with our partner club, ACOS-MSS. The AWS club is committed to supporting aspiring women surgeons to ENGAGE current and future women surgeons, EMPOWER women to succeed, and EXCEL in individual aspirations through mentorship, education, and networking. Our mission is to inspire, encourage, and enable aspiring women surgeons.
