Community Outreach and Medical Mentors
The Community Outreach and Medical Mentors Department is a volunteer-based organization dedicated to providing opportunities for student doctors to serve the community. We are committed to promoting understanding through education, to using our experience and knowledge to mentor future student doctors, and to inspiring young minds to pursue careers in science and medicine. We are passionate about giving back to both our community and the future of medicine.

Club Activites
Anatomy Academy
We volunteer at elementary schools once a month to teach health-centered lessons in a fun and interactive way.
This program is a highlight for the club, combining our love of mentorship and community service. We look forward to getting back to it soon.
Mentor Program
To help us live up to our name, we plan on establishing a new mentor program this year. This will be done in the hopes of involving undergraduate and high school students by matching them with a medical student.
We hope that this program will allow us to better connect with our community while also helping interested pre-med students navigate the challenges associated with pursuing this career path.
LectureSeries
Interesting topics and experienced people come together in our exciting lecture series, where we bring in successful individuals to teach us about pertinent topics.
This year we plan on focusing our series on what medical students wish they would have known earlier. Join us as we attempt to learn more about what to expect in the upcoming years of medical school
