The Rocky Vista University Southern Utah Global Health Club is established in recognition and support of global health outreach programs, dedicated to provide primary healthcare to under-served people worldwide. The Global Health Club will provide members with opportunities to explore areas of medicine otherwise not included in their university training, including:

 

  • Learning about conditions not commonly seen in primary care medicine in the United States

  • Practicing Medical Spanish and other languages

  • Exposing students to diverse ethnic and cultural groups

  • Fostering cultural sensitivity and advocacy 

  • Learn from guest lecturers who are experts in global and public health

Club Events:

  • International global health outreach trips

  • Medical Spanish Lessons​

  • Introductions to global-health topics and diseases

  • Cultural Sensitivity Training
